  • Tsara Guest House - Fianarantsoa
Tsara Guest House is in a wonderful group of colonnial buildings in Fianarantsoa. Presented beautifully and kept very clean, it has a great restaurant and fine views over the surrounding city and countryside. The management of the Tsara Guest House created the Heritsialonina Foundation to support historic preservation activities in the old city of Fianarantsoa. The activities of the Foundation range from providing information about the history and architecture of the city to assisting in the rehabilitation of buildings (such as the Randzavola College) that are in danger of imminent ruin. The Foundation, which works in close collaboration with the residents of the old city, also seeks to raise local consciousness concerning Fianarantsoa’s rich heritage.
